About us

While Zone Automation officially took shape in 2020, our foundation rests on a much deeper history of industrial mastery. Our founder, Orhun Güneş, began his journey in the field in 2010, accumulating over 15 years of continuous, hands-on experience in the most demanding international fields.

This expertise was forged through years spent as a dedicated service engineer, specializing in both critical fault diagnosis and complex new system installations across multinational companies. It was this wealth of knowledge, coupled with a vision for delivering truly superior, client-focused automation solutions, that led to the establishment of Zone Automation.

In just the past five years, our company has rapidly become a trusted partner, successfully executing over 100 projects ranging from crucial system retrofits to large-scale new installations. Our capacity for excellence is best demonstrated by our largest project to date: a comprehensive automation solution featuring a total installed power of 2.4 MW, managing 32 motors, and integrating over 500 I/O points.

Beyond the textile sector, we have delivered solutions across diverse process automation needs. Today, Zone Automation proudly serves clients in specialized, high-stakes environments, actively supporting the Maritime Industry, Custom Yachts, and the Iron & Steel Sector, where precision and reliability are non-negotiable.

Zone Automation currently serves its clients from its dedicated 250 square meter workshop in Istanbul, which functions as our agile hub for control system design, integration, and detailed engineering work.

However, to ensure we can scale our services to handle major industrial projects, we leverage the substantial resources of our sister company, Galva Makina. For large-scale panel construction and assembly—particularly those involving projects like the 2.4 MW solution—we utilize Galva Makina’s expansive manufacturing facility in Zonguldak.

This strategic partnership grants us access to a dedicated industrial space spanning 10,000 square meters (10 acres) of land, including 4,000 square meters of enclosed production area. This collaborative model ensures that Zone Automation provides the agile, high-precision engineering required for small projects from our Istanbul base, while guaranteeing the massive physical capacity and industrial environment necessary to execute the largest, most complex automation projects without constraint.
